Raised high enough to see over equipment and fencing, covering the site and the trailer itself. A pan-tilt-zoom camera to track movement, fixed cameras to hold the corners.
Its own recorder
Footage records on the trailer, on hardware that stays with the unit. You review it live or after the fact.
Its own internet
A cellular link with two SIM cards, so it stays online where there is no wired connection and rides out one carrier dropping.
Its own power
A battery bank topped up by solar, with a propane generator that starts itself when the battery runs low and a shore power plug for when grid power is available. It runs unattended, day and night.
Tow it in, level it, raise the mast. The site is covered.
Sites with no wall and no wire.
Construction sites
Deter theft of tools, copper and equipment before the building has power or walls, and have footage when something does happen.
Remote lots and yards
Laydown yards, equipment storage, gravel lots, anywhere too far or too temporary to wire.
Events and fairgrounds
Temporary coverage of a field or a lot for the run of the event, then gone.
Anywhere a fixed install does not fit yet
A site that will be wired eventually but needs eyes on it now.

AVNFi is building its first security trailers now, and reserving deployment slots before the first units go out. Reserving a slot puts your site in line for one of the first trailers and locks your place in the build queue. It is not a unit sitting on a lot today.
Why do it this way? Because the trailer is matched to the site, not pulled off a shelf. Telling you where things honestly stand is how AVNFi does everything else, so it is how this starts too.

Can I have a trailer on site next week?
Not yet. AVNFi is building its first units and reserving deployment slots, so what you are booking today is a place in the queue rather than a trailer sitting on a lot. Call and you will get an honest read on where you would sit.
Does the site need power or internet?
No. The trailer brings both. It runs on a battery bank topped up by solar, with a propane generator that starts itself when the battery runs low and a shore power plug for when grid power is there, and it gets online over cellular.
Does it work through a Calgary winter?
Cold shapes the design. It is not a footnote. The system is sized on what the battery holds and what the solar gives in December, and kit that stops below freezing gets designed out rather than hoped over.
Is there a monthly fee to watch the cameras?
No. Footage records to the recorder on the trailer, not to someone else’s cloud you have to rent access to. You view it in the same app as any other AVNFi system, live or recorded, from anywhere the trailer has signal.
What if a trailer is not the right answer for my site?
You will be told that. Sometimes a few fixed cameras and a bit of cable is the better call, and on a site that already has power and a compound that will not move, a fixed install is usually the better buy.
