Yes, we can wire a house that is already finished.
Drywall up, floors down, people living in it. That is most of the work we do. The question is never whether it can be done. It is which route causes the least damage. You answer that on paper, before anyone opens a wall.
Wi-Fi is not the problem. The wire behind it is.
The upstairs bedroom
One access point in the basement, with three floors of drywall and plumbing between it and the room that matters. No mesh product fixes distance and walls.
The office that drops calls
Working from home on a signal that has to cross the whole house. One cable run to that room ends the problem for good.
The garage or the shop
Detached, and the Wi-Fi gives up halfway across the yard. The fix is usually a buried cable or a wireless bridge. Distance and a clear line of sight decide which one.
Planned first, certified after.
- We work from your drawings if you have them. Blueprints, architectural or electrical, any of them help.
- We mark every cable drop on the floor plan, with the access point and camera coverage each one gives you.
- We choose routes for least damage. Existing chases, closets, cold air returns and the attic come first.
- We quote the install from that finished plan, not from a guess on the phone.
- We certify every run on a Fluke Versiv. The report for each drop is yours to keep.
Certified, not just tested
Tested means a light went green. Certified means we measured the run against the standard. That covers length against the 90 metre limit, headroom in decibels, wire map, and insertion loss, which is how much signal the cable loses end to end. We do this on every drop in a house, the same way we did it on every jack of a hotel tower in Calgary.

How much damage are we talking about?
Usually far less than people expect. Most runs go through paths that are already there. Where we need a hole, we plan it, cut it small and patch it. The design stage exists so this is a decision rather than a surprise.
What if I do not have any drawings?
Then we can come on site and capture the layout with a LiDAR scan, which builds a 3D model of the rooms. For a home it is a flat $249, and that covers our time on site. We only charge it when there are no usable drawings. It is not part of the design fee and it is not a perk. It is a fallback that costs time.
Do I have to use Ubiquiti?
It is what we design around and what we are certified in, and it has no licensing fees on the core network. If a job suits something else, we will say so.
Is the $299 on top of the install?
No. If you go ahead within 60 days, we credit it against the work. If you do not, you keep the plan and owe nothing more.
