We are building a room in Calgary where the gear is racked, powered and live. Not a shelf of boxes. A working system you can stand in front of, open on your phone, and ask awkward questions about.

Why a showroom, when everything is online
Specs do not tell you how it feels
A camera’s field of view is a number until you watch it pick a face out of a dark parking lot. A door reader is a product photo until you tap a phone against it and hear the strike release. Most of the decisions people agonise over are settled in about ninety seconds of standing in front of the thing.
It is the cheapest way to avoid an expensive mistake
Buying the wrong console, the wrong camera, or a switch that cannot power what you hang off it costs real money to undo. Half an hour in the room ahead of a quote has saved people more than the visit ever could.
What will be in the room
Live and running, not in packaging.
G6 series cameras
Turret, Dome and Bullet side by side so you can see what the form factor actually changes, plus low light and the detection features, on a real recorder. Related reading: choosing UniFi cameras.
Door entry and readers
A working door with a strike, a reader and a request-to-exit, so you can watch an unlock happen end to end and see what the resident and the manager each get. More on UniFi door access.
Access points
Indoor, in-wall and outdoor units mounted where you can look at them properly, and the controller on screen showing what they are doing. More on UniFi access points.
A fully built cabinet
Gateway, switching, patching and cable management, dressed the way we dress a real job. This is the part people ask for photographs of, and the part that tells you most about who is doing your install.
Audio
Paging and background audio running on the same system as everything else, so you can hear it rather than read about it. More on UniFi audio and paging.
Digital signage
Screens driven from the same network, for reception areas, menu boards and building notices. Useful if you are weighing signage against a separate system nobody wants to maintain.
Who it is for
Building owners, property managers, clinic and office managers, builders and homeowners partway through a decision. If you have a quote in hand, from us or anyone else, bring it.
What we will and will not promise
What you get
An honest walkthrough of working equipment, straight answers about what it does and does not do, and the price you would actually pay. Hardware is at Ubiquiti’s own price including their memory surcharge, and we charge for design, configuration and labour. That does not change in the room.
What we will not do
We will not tell you that you need to replace something that is working. If the honest answer is keep what you have, that is the answer you will get, and you can walk out with it and no obligation. There is no pressure close in this room, and nothing is for sale on the spot.
Request a visit
Appointment only, so the room is yours and not shared with a walk-in. Tell us what you are trying to decide and roughly when suits, and we will confirm a time once we open. If your question can be answered without the trip, we will tell you that instead and save you the drive.
