How it fits

Being straight about when this is the right answer.

  • Line of sight is not negotiable. Trees grow and buildings go up. We check the path before anything is quoted.
  • Fibre is better where a path exists. If a route can be put in the ground, put it in the ground. Glass does not care about weather, and it will outlast the radios.
  • Weather is a real factor here. Snow load and ice on a mount are Calgary problems, so the mounting matters as much as the radio.
  • It is one link, not coverage. A bridge carries the network to the far building. Access points still do the Wi-Fi once it arrives.
