Fibre Optic Splicing FAQ

An OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) sends light down the fibre and maps every splice, connector, and bend along the run, with the loss at each point. It proves the link meets its loss budget and pinpoints faults to the metre. We hand you the traces as part of your documentation so you have certified proof the link works.
